The North Shore Women’s Club

Founded in 1940, The North Shore Women’s Club is a social & philanthropically minded group of women who live in and support Long Island’s North Shore community. Their goal is to build an empowering and supportive environment for women in our community and to make a difference in the community in which we live & work.

The club furthers the social, cultural, & educational interests of our members while promoting the highest ideals of citizenship & support for charitable purposes within the North Shore community.

Sea Cliff Arts Council

Sea Cliff Arts Council (SCAC) started as a vision of former mayor Claudia Moyne in 1999 and quickly blossomed into a viable institution whose purpose was to support and promote the arts in all modes of artistic expression within one square mile. With the arts as a natural resource of Sea Cliff, SCAC has created opportunities for all creatives to be celebrated and share their work.

Love Your Neighbor Project (LYNP)

Love Your Neighbor Project (LYNP) is a grassroots nonprofit that connects communities through social goodness. The needs of those facing financial hardships are growing each day, and accessibility is diminishing quickly.

Our communities are divided and not finding common ground as we collectively experience life. And so, the idea to create a platform that brings neighbors together was formed.

Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor (CSHH)

The Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor (CSHH) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986. CSHH is dedicated to identifying and eliminating environmental threats to Hempstead Harbor and the surrounding communities. Their objective is to advance the public interest in protecting and restoring our local environment to its full ecological and economic potential.

The fundamental force behind CSHH’s efforts is the belief that concerned and informed citizens can make a difference in events that shape the future.

North Shore Coalition Against Substance Abuse, NSCASA

The North Shore Coalition Against Substance Abuse, NSCASA, is a private, volunteer, non-profit organization that is made up of different sectors of the community, including parents, the business community, media, schools, youth, and substance abuse professionals.

Their mission is to bring the community together to identify emerging trends and address ongoing substance abuse with the school, youth, parents, and children in the community.
